Cathleen White, Owner and Founder of the Law Office of Cathleen White, comes to the legal profession with diverse career experience. Prior to obtaining her law degree Cathleen worked ten years as an Animal Control Officer for the Town of Paradise before transferring to the Administrative Services Department where she handled the Town’s payroll and benefits administration. She then decided to move to the Sacramento area in order to go back to school in pursuit of obtaining a law degree. While working in Sacramento and going to school Cathleen worked as an accountant for a financial advisory company. From 2005 to 2007 Cathleen volunteered her time working an externship for the Placer District Attorney’s Office as a Certified Law Student, in the Family Protection Unit, assisting with the domestic violence calendar. In 2005 Cathleen received Lincoln Law School’s Moot Court Award for Best Overall. Upon graduating from Lincoln in May of 2007 and passing the bar that same year, Cathleen began the first six months of her legal career as a criminal defense attorney, then refocused her attention in the field of Family Law.
